There is one body and one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, on God and Father of all. Ephesians 4:4-6
American culture expects options. Hundreds of deodorant scents; Mexican restaurants with a bit of Chinese on the menu; countless additional features for your newly purchased car; millions of songs to listen to and hundreds of ways to listen; all to benefit you, the customer. We believe in choices. Such a plethora of alternatives to everything we may consider consuming makes it difficult for us to hear and believe there is really only One God.
Difficult, but not impossible. The Creator we encounter in the intricacies of His creation has spoken. Through a burning bush, through a donkey, through prophets, the One and only God has spoken. The One who creates and speaks has come in person. Jesus Christ has thoroughly revealed who God is. One God and Father of all! Loving you, His children, beyond compare. This is who God is!
Father, thank you for your great love. Amen.
