Walk In Love

Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us. Ephesians 5:2

What kind of love would it take to sacrifice yourself for someone else? You’d have to really care, really love, in order to do something of this magnitude. A spouse or children, your country, or perhaps a best friend would all be worthy candidates of people you might die to save. What about your enemies? Those people who don’t just dislike or annoy you, but out and out despise you. Who would ever die for someone like that?

Answer? Jesus. And not very many others. For people who have fallen far from grace, Jesus gave up His life. We are a broken people; a people so often out for ourselves. Jesus saw more. He saw something worth saving. Something worth loving. Someone worth dying for. He saw you. He loves you! Walk in this love! Know it and believe this love every day of your precious life!

Jesus, thank you for your great love. Amen.
