We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty. Luke 17:10
What is the purpose for your life? Have you ever wondered? There was a book sensation about ten years ago addressing this very important question. If you still question your purpose, I have some very helpful words for you today. The purpose for your life is entirely connected to and defined by the relationships in your life. With each relationship comes responsibility, or purpose. If you are someone’s child, love and obey your parents. If you are a parent, raise and care for your children. If you are a worker, do the job that is asked of you. If you are a next door neighbor, look out for each other.
This is who you are. There are people in your life who need you and the good that you do. This is what you were created to do! This, dear friend, is your purpose!
Dear Jesus, strengthen me for the purposes you have given me! Amen.
